Al Madrigal and Mimi GonzalezThursday, February 238 p.m. Little TheatreFocusing on his unique Latino experience in America, Madrigal bridges the cultural divide with humor and lyricism. He is on the Comedy Central tour. Other appearances include Shorties Watching Shorties and Premium Blend on Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Friday on NBC, Latino Laugh Festival the Show on SiTv, Comedy Minutos on HBO Latino and his own Comedy Central Presents special that aired January, 2005.
Gonzalez has toured the U.S. twice and was hired to entertain the military in Japan, Bosnia and Kosovo. Her Latin-hybrid roots, funky feminism and no-genders-barred approach to sexuality have narrowed her career options to either a straight-jacket model or a stand-up comic.
