La Bolá emerged out a deep desire of its members to bring the authentic Cuban music experience to the NYC area and even though they are fresh new band they are not to be taken lightly. The group plays a modern Timba style and that is both an eclectic orientation of Cuban musical styles and most importantly highly danceable with its easy-going groove.

The band' is headed by the brilliant Cuban pianist/arranger/composer, Ariacne Trujillo, while vocalists, Eduardo "el Niño" Alvarez and Lid Ferrera man the microphones; along with Cuban percussionist Aryam Vázquez and bassist Richei Leyva the stage gets set on fire with Cuban rhythm. The groups’ members, as individuals, have all had successful careers in the music industry playing, recording, and performing with the likes of Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, Miles Peña, Michael Stuart, Alfredo de la Fe, José Fajardo, Cachao, Dave Valentin, Johnny Pacheco, Juan Pablo Torres, and the list goes on and on (literally). La Bolá is for real! They have real Cuban talent, real Cuban flare, and most of all real Cuban music.
